and Presentations |

Rotary Clubs are a great medium for reaching a target audience. They provide a direct link to small business people in each community. Over half of The Rotary Club of Aurora members are from businesses with less than 20 workers and the majority of our members work in the private sector and represent a wide range of experience. This is quite attractive to most businesses, sports teams and government agencies. With the Rotary International reputation, our list of speakers is quite diversified and interesting. |

| The
Sparrow Village Project |
|
We are very proud to be part of this international program. It started with the partnership of The Rotary Club of Honeydew, South Africa, Sparrow Rainbow Village and The Rotary Club of Aurora, Ohio, USA. The goal of the Sparrow Village Project is to provide a hospice solution to dying and orphaned children worldwide. It is amazing how many clubs around the world are investigating the possibility of making this concept a reality....No Child Will Die Alone! |

| PolioPlus
Campaign |
|
| In 1985, Rotary launched the PolioPlus program to protect children worldwide from the cruel and fatal consequences of polio. In 1988, the World Health Assembly challenged the world to eradicate polio. Since that time, Rotary's efforts and those of partner agencies, including the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children's Fund, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and governments around the world, have achieved a 99 percent reduction in the number of polio cases worldwide. Rotarians stand at the brink of a great victory and look forward to celebrating the global eradication of polio in 2005, the organization's centennial year. | ![]() |

| "It is well that there is nothing in Rotary so sacred that it cannot be set aside in favor of things better. This is an experimental age in a changing world, and all things which are worthwhile and progressive are the cumulative effects of preceding successes and failures." Paul Harris | |
